1970’s

Ecology and Environment, Inc. (E & E) started a paper-based, trip-reduction program on Earth Day in 1973. The purpose of the program was to decrease single occupant vehicle use, conserve fuel, and reduce harmful air emissions.

1980 - 90’s

E & E’s alternative transportation program continues to grow and receive recognition from the U.S. EPA for our achievements, including “Innovative Work in Community Transportation Improvements” and saving more than 25,000,000 driven miles.

2000’s

E & E recognized that its employees needed a more convenient, easy-to-use tool to find carpool matches and report their commute, which led to the design and implemention of the Web- and map-based system called GreenRide.

2010’s

The GreenRide brand was expanded to include Mobility Management Solutions. The mix and match integration possibilities of these solutions allow coordinating agencies the ability to share resources, management, and costs of offering multiple transportation solutions.
